Restructurings

Politely called "restructurings" or "special loans", the project finance industry inevitably has a group of workouts underway.  In general, if the original structure has been dynamically responsive to the project's cashflows, then a loss/writeoff isn't inevitable. 

Workouts require the highest skills (and trust in the workout specialist, who often has to deal with negotiations outside of 'committee' hours or sanctions.)
