Ms. Molson has been involved in the venture capital industry since 1973 when she joined Boyd, Stott & McDonald Limited, one of Canada’s earliest venture funds. Its shareholders included the Air Canada and CN Pension Funds, the Bronfman and Guinness families, and Time Inc. In 1980 she founded Covan Corporate Consultants, a management consulting firm specializing in Strategic Planning and Financial Services for small to medium sized businesses. In 1989, Ms. Molson formed Covan Corporate Capital Inc. Its initial purpose was to manage a Limited Partnership formed jointly with Dundee Capital of Toronto to provide investment capital to emerging businesses. Ms. Molson has participated in the formation and management of a number of innovative financial and technological companies in Europe, the U.S. and Canada, both as consultant and Director. She is also on the Board of Directors of a number of non-profit organizations. Ms. Molson received her Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) and Master of Business Administration (Finance) degrees from Concordia University, Montreal.
